“ Wow the food is delicious and there is always a large serving. Service was great and was always checking on us. We sat outside and it was great and the heaters helped take the chill off. ”

My wife and I shared the Special - baked pasta with Diablo and chocolate sauce, and Greek salads. The rest of the family had chicken Parmesan and baked ravioli. Everyone loved their meals. The server was on top of everything and very knowledgeable about the menu and wines and she was very friendly. It was my mother's 85th birthday and the hostess and server went out of their way to make sure it was a delightful and delicious evening. ”

The bread was amazing, the salad was tasty (with very fresh vegetable...much to the enjoyment of my vegan dinner-mate) and the entree was impressive. We ordered the Vito's Il Diavolo Sauce with Rigatoni. This is available in 6 heat levels (mild, medium, hot, gina's hot, ghost, and vito's hot (no take backsies). On any given day, I am able to handle an elevated level of heat. In most establishments I can handle a level 8 out of 10 and still thoroughly enjoy my meal. We ordered gina's hot thinking it would settle at a medium but were very wrong. Don't get me wrong, the food was still AMAZING, but we needed to take off any outer layers of clothing to deal with the heat sweat. I will definitely be back to this location on my next visit to the Pensacola area. ”

What makes Bonelli's special is their home cooked menu using fresh ingredients and recipes passed down for generations. Quality service is simply part of the recipe here and there's no hurry because your food is always cooked from scratch - they live up to the Slowinellis moniker. The menu is filled with tons of dishes named after family members. You can trust the classics here without remorse like chicken parmesan lasagna, but you better bring your appetite because everything is served in huge portions. The menu is awesome and I recommend blocking ~2 hours for dinner. Also, seating is quite limited, so make sure you make reservations and although the food is 5 star, there is no dress code. A visit to Bonelli's is an absolute must!!! ”
